November is the month we honor our veterans, so it’s time for our Patriot Spotlight - Veterans Appreciation! I look forward to this month as a time to recognize those who have served our country and to show our gratitude for their sacrifice and dedication. The courage, commitment, and selflessness of our veterans have been a cornerstone of our nation for generations, and their service continues to inspire us all.

I’m inviting you to nominate a veteran or someone who supports and serves veterans in our community who deserves recognition for their service, leadership, and dedication. This could be a veteran, an individual who works with or supports veterans, or an organization that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of veterans. We want to recognize not only those who have served our country, but also the individuals and organizations who dedicate their time and efforts to supporting our veterans.

I look forward to honoring many veterans from every corner of our District, from Mission Bay in San Diego County to Mission Viejo in Orange County.

Please submit a nomination below (link on the Senate Website) for one veteran or veteran organization that has made a meaningful impact in the lives of veterans. The nominee should live, work, attend school, or volunteer in State Senate District 38 (see District Map here). During November, I’ll thank each one individually with a personalized letter and Certificate of Appreciation.
