Sen. Blakespear Calls for Stronger Restrictions on Offshore Oil Drilling

Sen. Blakespear presented AB 1448 by Assemblymember Greg Hart on the Senate floor and called for its passage. AB 1448, which Sen. Blakespear co-authored, would prohibit the use of existing infrastructure for new federal drilling leases and bolster state authority over leases.
