November is the month we honor our veterans, so it’s time for our Patriot Spotlight - Veteran Appreciation! I look forward to this month as a time to recognize those who have served our country and to show our gratitude for their sacrifice and dedication. The courage, commitment, and selflessness of our veterans have been a cornerstone of our nation for generations, and their service continues to inspire us all.

I’m inviting you to nominate a veteran or volunteer who serves veterans in your community who stand out for their service, leadership, and dedication, whether they served in the military, support fellow veterans, or contribute to their communities in meaningful ways. Veterans and those who serve them come from all walks of life and serve in countless roles.  They deserve our recognition and appreciation. You may also nominate an organization that serves veterans.

I look forward to honoring many veterans from every corner of our District, from Mission Bay in San Diego County to Mission Viejo in Orange County. 

Please submit a nomination below for one veteran, a volunteer who serves veterans, or veteran organization that has made a meaningful impact in the lives of veterans. The nominee should reside in, volunteer in, or serve beneficiaries in State Senate District 38 (see District Map here). During November, I’ll thank each one individually with a personalized letter and Certificate of Appreciation.
